Great post and photos. The gunard is beautiful. They called them sea robins in N Carolina. I've heard they're very good eating. The little pelvic fin rays that use to walk on the bottom are a trip. Mike

Thanks. For the on the water shots, I've been using a Nikon Coolpix AW100 and have been quite happy with it. Have used it for about three years now.

The nighttime bridge pics were with 10MP Canon Digital Rebel T3i.

No regulation here whatsoever. It's sad actually, as overfishing on some boats/ports is blatant with displays of numerous coolers full of fish at the end of a day. As much as I love Japan, Japan is the same way. Doesn't look good for the future.
