Yakjoe....

Your a real beauty....

I like that fact that you gave lessons to Iceman and Bellcon, maybe they can finally catch some fish in open water soon...

Open Invite

Joe, I have tried fishing the open ocean waters outside of Redondo for a couple of years. I know that there are many big halibut there, I have seen other (more skilled) anglers pull them out.

I plead with you to meet me at Redondo and share some of your techniques. Seriously, no B.S.

I will buy lunch after we fish.

Let me know which weekend day works for you.

The techniques you employ to catch Halis up north should translate OK to catching them by L.A. Right? I would love to be able not to drive 2+ hours north to fish with you. Can we do Redondo? I will be able to learn a lot of things that I can later use to fish this water.

I can fish this Saturday. Let me know what time you want to meet.

Please let me know exactly what type of equipment I need to bring to go after the Halis.

Man I don't even want to post my Merced river trip report now. Imagine how embarrassed I would have been once yak Joe caught wind of how protected I've been the last 3 days

Post it, post it, it is a different chapter in another book. It stands on it's own, just like your ART. Hope it was a good trip, how did the new yak work out for you?
