Great post. Fishing is much more than just catching fish. The environment that we experience by being on the water is a great reward by itself. Combine that with our great weather most of the year and it makes me happy that I don't live in the NY area anymore with all that snow.

I have found many times that even if birds are working the surface that many times the fish are actually deeper.

Nice to see someone appreciate what it is all about.
