Check out the savage gear glide swimmers. Maybe a little cheaper than a TT around $16. And already good paint schemes. Can't speak from experience on holding up to yellowtail. the glide swimmer only has one joint, but great action

Yeah the joint is where my concern lies. I think with some upgraded hooks and rings they would hold but not sure on the hinges.

I have a few TT and I may be wrong, but I don't think the hinges could hold up to the abuse a yellow could dish out. A double digit largemouth sure, but those mossbacks are something serious. Just my two pennies.

This was my worry too. Oh well. I'm definitely going to run one down the lanes for some calico action though. I've seen the damage they can do

It can be done! Now I wavy to do it. Looks like he cast out, let it drop to the bottom and cranked it up like a yoyo. I really think it would work good. They have a very unique dying fish action on the drop and sick a lifelike swim
