I was born and raised in chula vista and have been fishing south SD Bay for years. Its a fun fishery. Mostly spotted bass, but many other species as well. Over the years I've caught only 2 bone fish on plastics. But with ghost shrimp, or even raw shrimp from a market, you can expect to catch a few on most trips. Mike
