I think you guys are missing the point, they are called 'forecast' and or 'predictions' for a reason.

Cdip buoys said 3.5 feet at 10 seconds from the north. You Must have missed that one


I was out diving today. Took a heavy one on the launch.

I get that but if the weather predicts it's going to be 70 degrees and it's off by 20 for a few days you stop listening to it. When I head out I look at the forecast to get an idea the conditions I will be facing as that will determine if I am going 4 miles out or 1 mile.

There has to be more accurate predictions out there if not what's the point. If not I would just stick my finger in the air and make my own forecast
