I installed one on my Outback. I'm 5'10" and weigh 230lbs, I was able to sit and open the hatch with no issues. I know Andy at OEX has them in stock and installs them for a few bucks.

X2 on the rectangle hatch.. Just installed one on my outback 2 months ago thanks to a little help from Jurluivil and you tube.. Yes its the hatch with the 2 boxes or you can get the rectangle tub. I opted for the tub... Easy to get into. Best upgrade by far... |

Nice ride indeed. Only thing missing is the rods, water, and a fish.

Think I just saw your car earlier this morning following another SUV with a yak on it. You have dodger license plate frames? Good luck out there and congrats on the yak. I'm stuck out at work

Nice boat. I just picked up a new to me 2011 Outback. Im still tracking down some gear. Let me know how you like the rectangle hatch if you upgrade it. It seems like a no brainer, not sure why they dont come like that from the factory.

Took it out and dish the kelp in dana point the other day its a great yak. For me it needs some small improvements but its great platform. If you have the bait tank find a way to put a screen on the intake tube thw kelp clogged mine several times, and the seat kinda sucks while paddling it kept falling back and while fishing it would slowly fall back and i had to keep adjusting it all day but im a bigger fuy so maybe its just me Sent using Tapatalk |
