Sewer Halibut with Puttanesca Relish
Let’s get this started. I went out last Sunday and caught this sucker.
![]() It's a personal best in regards to my catch & dinner. This is a must try dish! ![]() Halibut: 1/2 cup olive oil 1 cup fresh basil leaves Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper halibut fillets Blend olive oil and basil then add salt and pepper. Brush halibut with basil oil and cook. After the fish is cooked add extra basil oil to fish. ![]() Puttanesca Relish: 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 2 teaspoons anchovy paste 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/4 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 1 large tomato 1 jalapeno 1/2 small red onion 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1/4 cup chopped kalamata olives 1/4 cup torn fresh basil leaves 2 tablespoons parsley Char the onion, jalapeno, and tomato then rough chop. Mince basil, parsley and garlic. Add everything into a bowl and wait for the fish to cook. ![]() Enjoy! |
