You missed it this morning, Chuck...

I got to the launch around 5:30-5:45am. Some nice sized sets coming in. I loaded
up and timed it pretty good, because I made it out dry...

Now for the fishing. The weather was decent early, with a light offshore breeze.
Made for an easy paddle out. By the time the sun rose, there was very little wind.
In fact, it became calm, glassy, and sunny. It was actually warm. Didn't try to
make bait, but tossed irons and dead sticked another. A kayaker upstream
of my drift got hooked up, so I continued to throw irons around the area,
in a 270 degree pattern. Couldn't hook up, but I saw this guy was coming
to color, so I decided to take a picture.

Turns out to be a Black Seabass. No luck for me today. So...what you missed
was a decent morning on the water and possibly an early cold shower (at the launch).
