Nice work on the "Jailbirds" Andy!
All summer long with my proximity to Castaic (and annual 'day permit'), any day I thought I may up to it the forecast has been for temps in the triple digits. Been dying to take pictures of the lake @ low water to document the contours and structure (also catch "Kong Island"). Then also to catch my first double digit (20+Lb'er) "on the fly" in my Outback (always been excited about the thought of 'that' sleigh ride and 'PB'

Maybe with the lower temps this week, I might be able (hopefully) to at least get out!

Can I assume caught somewhere close to work (maybe 'the southbay'?)

Is it just me or do you most times find a way to start your day with a good a.m. excursion?
