Looking at Surfline...Sunday's report is 5'-8' occ 9' for South San Diego.....Question is...does the launch area get any of that swell? Looked pretty chill today...

Generally the longer period the swell, the more it mellows out over the canyon.

Looks like the major swell is coming from the WNW. Perhaps someone else can speak but it looks like yard sale material tomorrow. I'm still figuring out the swell patterns for LJ.

Take note:
The shores is always smaller than anywhere else UNLESS it is short period local swell, then the canyon does not baffle the wave energy.
