Scopper Pro - Please help - wet butt - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Why don't the scupper hole plugs work? I have used them in my scupper pro in the past with good results. Occasionally during the trip, I use a big orange sponge from the Home Depot to bail out the seat area. It does keep the seat area dry. I'm 6'2" 165#.
For me being on the water so much, a wet seat is no big deal. I always wear a spring suit except in the height of the summer and just don't seem to notice the wet. It is a water sport after all.
