how do you make the thing so it fits in the peddle slot? does it ruin the peddle?

I fit a minn kota motor in place of the pedal drive. It pushes my
tandem outfitter at 4.2 mph. I love it cuz im lazy |

That guy used pedal drive cassette to secure the motor
My friend did this and it seems like it's doing its job. However it's a chore to lug around that heavy battery. 45 |

Last year I was at DP and saw an asian dude with a hobie and a 4-stroke weed wacker motor connected to a drive plug that snapped in drive hole.
He simply pulled the cord and off he went. I recall the prop blade only being about 4 inches. Only draw back I saw... noise and the smell of exhaust. |
