We JUST went out with them. A halfer that went up to HB and hit a few rigs and lobster areas. Easy going and well run.
Reading the tally board made me want to try some 3/4-day boats and hope to hit the bigger game. One thing we learned . . . having a full size truck . . . was the parking structure adjacent to the docks doesn't park 'em. We had to zip to the other side of the spit we were on and park on the beach side and then hoof it back the 2-3 blocks to board. Not a biggie really, but we didn't want to miss the boat! Do any boats out of there or the LB docks standout good or bad?

I perfer Dana over Davy's or Newport due to parking at Dana is plentiful. But personal favorite is malahini out of H&M but the San Diego boats cost so much more and its a long drive for me.

Malahini by far my favorite 3/4 boat. Great capitan and crew. But that's not LB.

Thanks for the info. Driving to Dana is a ride, not so bad. Anyone with a "Malahini" local to LB, please chime in. Am looking up the schedule now.
Funny, I've been reading about Dana for a while and we only going to try it on my yak.
