I meant no disrespect to anyone. Or was trying to ruffle a feather. I thought I read in owners manual to place on the rails of kayak. Meaning hanging it upside down as to prevent hull from damage. Caused by weight of kayak. The upper rails are thicker and sturdier then bottom of hull.
I store mine on a wooden rack with 3" PVC sch 80 conduits for bunks to sit kayak on top of. Bunks run full length. Sorry for trying to help.
