The boat got one bluefin. About 7 yellowtail and 20 some Bonita. I hooked 3 yellowtail, all of which got taken by seals and I only got one out. Lots of bluefin tuna boiling around the banks, just couldn't get a school to bite even on 15-20 lb. Really tough weather for fishing. Seems the Nados have been producing. The San Diego has been doing pretty well on 3/4 days. I'm really not fond of captains "overrunning" the fish.

No fish finder and bad weather forecast! A lot of us would hang it up at that point. Way to suck it up and just go fishing. Congrats.

Dang! Gotta hate those dogs! They always seem to find ya! My buddy who caught the nice hali had a dog reach into his yak and bite his fish at the tail and flipped him! Luckily he had everything strapped on but dam those things were aggressive! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
