Thanks for the 'heads up' on this... Just picked up the $95 one for myself. This ought to be perfect to wash down the kayak after fishing in places that don't have a freshwater washdown station... which are often the case. Cool!

I have one of those emergency portable car battery chargers/air compressors that has a cigarette lighter receptacle on it that I can use to run this thing, and I usually bring that along anyway. That way I can move it around and not have to worry about keeping it close to my vehicle to stay plugged in. Should work out great! :-)

Throwing another option out there, the Helio. Nothing fancy, you add pressure and it just works. Picked mine up at REI with a 20% off coupon.

Dana Landing sells an interesting model, can't recall what brand it is, but some of you guys might know what I'm talking about. They have a bunch set up right by the front entrance. Looked good.
