Body language
, like you said they are not interested in us for food, but this one is definitely saying she does not appreciate you being there. If you look at her stiff posture and slightly arched back and pectoral fins pointing straight down, this is classic territorial behavior for all sharks, they are looking big and intimidating. Sharks are more social than most people realize, so body language helps them avoid confrontation. This video shows that very well, she didn't want to attack you, she was just saying "leave my territory, look how big I am" unfortunately she is showing that behavior under the water, where you may not see it. Be careful out there!!
