Most guys drive right down to the water and unload. I have a low rider mazda so I stop where the pavement ends and the sand begins. Depending on tide, it is a short distance to the water. I just got some hobie wheels for my outback and dig not having to drag my yak to the water. Also can rig it before wheeling to water. At 5 a.m parking your car is no problem. Later in the day, it is probably a pain.
