Jim was solo in a TI, he took the mast down as it does create significant resistance heading into the wind. I reefed my sail as I had a trampoline full of loose items that would have bounced out for sure.Shane tacked in like a pro. I was pedaling in at 1 kt when Jim offered the tow and the fact that we were trying to beat the storm cell that was slowly creeping West and had already produced some lightning over the foot hills made accepting the tow a no brainer

now if I had a tuna on board, I would have got in under my own power ............
