Big change in the halibut division this year is you will be allowed to fish outside the bay! You just have to launch at start time from the specified location and make it back to the scale by 1pm!

I'm gonna throw this idea out there again because I think it will help raise more money. What if anglers were allowed to enter both divisions(paying $50) with the stipulation that they still have to abide by the bass rules(no bait, stay inside the bay etc.) if you caught a big halibut on artificials you would have a shot at winning both divisions. I think a number of people would do this(myself included) and it could add up to at least another $500 grossed for the tournament.

Just paid. Can't wait for it. It is always so much fun. I'm putting in for that day off at work as soon as I get to work tomorrow.
