Plenty of fishing in and near SD.
The "LJ Slam" is a good place to start; sea bass, yellow tail, big halibut, n thresher shark. And with this el nino who knows what else. The south bay slam; catch ever species of bottom shark and ray while fishing for bone fish. Lol. Sooo many species n places in baja. 4 of my 5 bucket list species live there. And I knocked snook off the list there. We're also close to loads of lakes that yield many 10+ lb large mouth bass. And big stripers. Hit the Colorado river for large mouth, small mouth, stripers, n massive cat fish. High Sierras are super doable trips from SD. Head north for ocean and river salmon. Fish SF bay for sturgeon. Aim for a big ling cod n 25 species of rock fish. Shit man, the clocks ticking. Mike |
