I wouldn't call the Kage Gaff a harpoon. It's definitely a spear in my mind.

I can just imagine the captain ahab-esque flailing of harpoons in la jolla after one more season of this garbage.
There is no fish in la jolla that you need to stab in the head to land. Just use a gaff.
