Has it been tested to make sure that it works? It's not a factory second or 'refurbished'?

It's brand new. I just never installed it on my kayak because I didn't use my kayak at all this year.

I recently picked up an elite 5 chirp, so the elite 4 must go.

I did use the power cord from the elite 4 to turn on one of my other FF's, so I can tell you that the power cord works. Everything else is still in the box.

And it is not a factory second, nor refurbished
