What I meant was even at the folded position, when it sits on the front hatch, it may cause tangles with the fishing line.

You definitely don’t want to have it inflated during the fight with a fish.

Like I said the jury is still out, until I personally try it.

This sail does not tack at all and is only useful downwind. If the wind is in your favor then it will work. if not.....

Yeah I can see that. I try to not keep any rods other than the one I am actively using in front of me.
