Any tips on mounting a Lowrance 3x on 2011 Malibu X-Factor? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I used a scotty mount with a lowrance FF adapter. Its mounted on the rear facing side of the hatch that can be used as a fishtanks if that makes sense. Ill look for a picture to help out.
