It might be, it sure felt heavier than 52lbs. My digital scale is only rated to 50lbs...so not sure how accurate it would be with something over 50. I probably should have taken it to a shop to get it weighed. It was 53 inches long and it was thick. I'll let the experts give a estimated weight with that measurement

Those chimichurri collars look great and must be super tasty. Having been born in Argentina I can tell you chimichurri, is just awesome on any kind of meat. All your dishes look good but you got me wanting some WSB or Yellowtail with chimichurri right now. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the fine trophies.

I took some fish prints of them, I painted one side of the fish which measured a width of 15 inches so would that make the girth approximately 30"? I think it's time for a new scale ...

((Girth x Girth) x Length) / 800 = weight in pounds
(girth and length are inches)

30x30x52/800 =58.2
