That is a monstrous fish and one hella of slay ride. I dont know if I would've held on that long, but you did and was able to capture that beast. Well done!!!

Holy COW! That is a battle and 1/2!

Edit: would not advise anyone sticking these with a gaff! Go for the tail That could have been ugly!

First off I'd like to say hello and thanks for all the rad comments! We are both new to kayak fishing but not fishing, dad did a great job putting rods in our hands
at a very young age(thanks dad).

I agree with you 100%, I made the decision to gaff it, after three hours this thing was done and starting to roll on its side. My younger brother had a 5' gaff that really helped make the decision, he got in front of it avoiding the tail end and made a perfect gaff in the gills and I got the tail rope.

Love the site, thanks guys the older brother.
