First hour had shad boiling on the bank and the bass were busting em up. I tried hard to get one on the Spook Jr, then finally tossed the white blade for 3 fish. Bite slowed to a crawl and I only got one more on a salt shaker worm on a sledhead, missed a few fish on that. Nothing on the crank for me, but Stevooo got a decent amount on his crank bait. Lots of grumbling about the slow day. Fun annual trip for us.
