get the wheelez cart instead
yes its expensive yes its bulky yes it may get punctured and go flat but it's easily repairable The hobie wheels are well built, sturdy and not to expensive but because they do not have bearings it takes some extra effort to pull the PA. I am able to breakdown my wheelez cart when necessary, I put the two wheels in the front hatch and strap down the frame behind the bait tan. I had the PA loaded with all of my gear and have had no issues pulling up any ramp.

+1 wheeleez all the way...the big balloon wheels for sand. I've seen people use the smaller wheels on PA's and although it does work, the wheels will rub against the hull scratching it pretty bad.
I see this question come up all the time on our local kayak forum and somehow people always don't listen to the advice from the OGs and buy some other junk just to regret it shortly after. Don't be that guy, get the wheeleez.

I go the kayak cart "plug-in" Hobie Trax "2-30" very nice to have the big beach wheels........
Its nice, but after review, I do like that cart now??

I would get the new C-Tug Sandtrakz. Supposed to be very effective in the sand and light, can be easily stored in the hatch.
