So, a variety of things worked on the troll....Tasmanian Devils, rapalas, needlefish but the good ole Thomas Buyoant 1/4oz in red n gold was the winner. Caught more fish on that lure than anything else. Got some good strikes at Silver lake on the troll but didn't land any. Rush creek was a blast.
I did great at Lake George....the 3rd pic I posted with my PB was from George. I got a couple more that were similar in size that I released. They have been on a serious stocking rotation as late so the "catching" is good right now. Have fun up there!

Rock Creek lake is one of my favorites but I haven't been there in years

A friend of mine owns a condo in Mammoth so I stayed there. I did see a lot of open spots for walk ups at the campgrounds though at Lake Mary and Lake George.

Nice trout! Man, these pics make me miss it up there. I was at Lake Mary in July. That place is amazing. Kayak fishing up there is on the bucket list.
