You can pull an old mirage drive out and put it in backwards or you can get a 2017 model and it will come with the 180 drive. You don't really need reverse but it has definitely handy for certain fishing situations like working specific structure and pulling a fish out of structure.

Bow in to the rocks, boiler rocks, kelp, or kelp patty, cast, set hook and reverse like you mean it. Hopefully you get him out of the structure. This may be a GAME changer, for those who fish heavier structure. Tight Lines.
