The outback and the revo are both stable, dependable yaks. I like them both and own one of each. The outback is heavier and since the side handle grips are not centered the weight is unbalanced and it is difficult to pick up, lift over your head, and throw on top of my Highlander SUV. The revo loads overhead with ease.
If you travel shorter distances, fish harbors, use hoop nets, like extra deck space, carry a lotta crap- get the outback. If you want to travel further, faster, and free of extra weigh- get a revo. They are both very stable. Personally I prefer the revo but dont think you could go wrong w either.
