Weigh Boat, Weigh Boat!
We have secured our 2 weigh boats, thanks to Steve O. and Chris F. These guys donated their time and vessels last year too! Thank you!!!
![]() ![]() The people that generously step up make this so easy and rewarding for me.

Does everyone pretty much use a livewell to bring fish to weigh boats? Anyone have other ways in which they can transport the fish safely?

Might try using one of those floating fish baskets that I see trout fishermen use to put your fish in. Then call one of the weigh boats immediately.

I used a collapse able bait cage a few years back. Worked well but lots of drag when moving from pt A to pt B.

Bass are pretty hardy and 14+ inchers are hard to come by. If you get one and do not have a livewell, I'd suggest just using a 3 or 5 gallon bucket with bay water in it and get it weighed and back in the water. Mesh bag or fish basket in the water is another decent option.
