Which is exactly what you want to do to not lose a fish. 1/4- 1/3 drag to lb line ratio.

....and after stopping by a local Big 5 today (I haven't been in one since I was a kid) now I'm seriously considering moving this new SXJ to my MH Proetus and buying a $60 Penn Rampage H for my Saltist 20LW. That stick wasn't the prettiest to look at but it seemed like a steal and I've heard those things are built like tanks...

60 bucks? Are you sure its not a blem?
