Is this a very recent story or re-post of an old one? Still a good one nonetheless!

That is half of all my fears out on the water in a kayak. The other is a boater that is drunk or careless.

I did a search on this, and I highly suspect it is a repeat of a 2012 Story - which is very similar (with less detail). No recent stories of a kayak being attacked by a great white show.

I believe this happened this past weekend in the Monterey area and it was a red kayak.

The other link from 2012 occurred at Pacifica, CA which is a different incident.

Nonetheless, scary stuff. But this is the price we must be willing to pay if we play on the landlord's turf.
