Congratulations! Every fish you learn something new... the first fish you learn about 100 new things.
I'm guessing by now you have realized that your cooler is way too small. |

You just gotta go out there a try. I'm a Marine stationed out here and have never been offshore Kayak fishing before. To be honest I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. I just watched a bunch of YouTube videos and went from there. I caught some bait, (don't even have a bait tank yet, put them in a laundry bag hanging off the side) hooked one up and thew it over the side. I forgot my battery to my fishfinder, so I just kinda followed other Kayaks out there. I was crusing along trying to catch more bait with another rod with a Sabiki and WAM! I was in shock it happened so quick. Fought for a good 15 - 20 minutes. Can't wait to go back when I have the chance.

Haha absoutley! One of my next purchases is going to be a big catch bag. I literally had to carry it in my arms like a drunk friend from the bar on the way back. Thank god I bought a Hobie
