I did that from my friends boat at the Nados. It was a Commarant. I tied on a Tady C, first cast...BOOM

I watched a young cormorant dive down and eat my deadstick iron --I figured it wouldn't be that dumb. I unhooked him and he swam right over to CaboJohn where it ate and then was hooked twice consecutively on 'dines.
Give them a break, they aren't that smart to begin with. |

Catching birds sucks! I got 2 pelicans in one cast from the skiff on Sat. Lassoed one with the line & hooked the other in the wing. Funny shit, unless you're a pelican.

What really sucks is when pelicans fly into a line (and get tangled) when somebody is on a big YT of tuna. Most of the times ive seen this happen the bird is not very lucky but we usually get the fish
