Landwhale and I have fished Island White many times. All the island's are the same in this respect, the tenders haul ass and slow at the last second. They really don't like us being in the way. So watch your six. Also when the barges come in they create quite a bit of current and I've almost flipped because of it a couple of times. Fishing is best in the dark. Once the sun comes up the legals tend to stop feeding and the shorts continue. Bring a buddy and have fun.
