Not bad. After the first thirty seconds or so, the sharp pains fade to numbness.

Everywhere but the ice, the water was fine, in the 50s. At the glacier, not much more than 32 degrees. I dangled my feet there when I had to dig out a fresh camera battery. That was cold.

Awesome photos Paul! With 32 deg water, how was the fishing at the Glacier?

Wide open on icebergs. Not much else biting in there.

There are fishier places in Alaska, but paddling in the ice - it's something special. (But so would be hooking a 50-lb ling. Maybe next time!)
