Why would yesterday's hot dog not be room temperature, unless it's stored in the refrigerator or freezer? My beer is colder than yesterday's hot dog.

When your a fisherman you can go on hot streaks and cold streaks. So when your hot and catching fish, you are todayâ€™s â€œhotdogâ€. When you not, and not catching fish...your yesterdays hotdog, and thereâ€™s nothing colder meaning, you are on a cold streak, and canâ€™t get bit to save your life.

I lean toward Mitchell's more esoteric search for meaning in life, but since ful-rac is the one who penned his byline, I now understand his definition as well.

I thought it meant show off, but it means a daredevil or risk taker...the term came from Germany grinding up chucks of meat into sausage, they thought they were grinding up dogs at first.
