Cute commercial. It was so much fun to watch that they may have inadvertently stimulated interest in a whole new subculture of people who want DIY Yakoff's.

Might be fun making a Yakoff out of anything lying around that floats. Load it up with everything you want to clear out of your garage and crash it at La Jolla Shores launch area for a REAL yard sale worthy of selfies and tourist photos.

A Yakoff could become the Kayak World's version of what a Rat Rod is to hot rod enthusiasts.

Yakoff fishing tournaments. Yakoff races. Yakoff cruise nights. Yakoff barbecues. Yakoff Floatopias. Yakoff beauty contests.

Sounds Russian.

Why spend $2,500 for conspicuous name brand consumption when you can make your own out of second hand PVC sewer pipes scrounged up for free?

A good name to paint in frilly letters on the bow might be "Sh*t Floats!"
