Mine has seen heavy use and pulled across deep gravel and sand, sometimes being towed by a quad in Mako-ville with no issues at all. Just install what you have and don't look back. I did not notice any difference in speed or energy required to peddle it when the Boonedox went on, and I always keep the wheels on the boat when fishing.
