Another option is before checking-in at the hotel in (SF) to visit the hot springs in Puertocito to soak some old bones.
Maybe even cast a line or two. |

Just in case you didn't know, there is some additional road construction going on between SF and Puertocitos. So in addition to it being rough in the past, there are some significant detours on dirt in that section.

Thanks for the tip Ross.
My plans are not set in stone. We may make some changes as we see fit. The main objective is NOT to stress out and have fun. As usual, it is taking a long time for the rip to start, yet it will wiz by once I get on the road in Los Angeles. |
