Cj-That looks pretty sweet! Do you think that it is possible to do a through scupper hole intake to clean it up so that you don't have to hang it off the side? I'm getting my new trident soon and I might be interested in a set up like that. I really like the way Matt has his flushmounts, it makes the boat look really sleek!

Matt,
A through scupper might be tough however My boat is plumbed with the pump inside the boat. The intake hose simply threads onto a Washdown fitting. Works very well. No priming, minimal setup, and very sleek. But if you dont want a hole in the bottom of your boat we could figure something out. Would probably be similar to how the Hobie tank is plumbed. Only problem is the location of the scuppers on the Trident. Ill start drawing out some ideas and playing around with it. Oh an I am totally taking the full credit for the Flushmount set up. He copied me. ![]() |

Yea Moyer that was my initial thought too, but cj and Matty were afraid the pump would need to be primed. I still think it would work.

The pump WILL need to be primed and if using a timer you will need a check valve.
Also this eliminated more free space in the tank and gives more hard items for the bait to beat themselves up on. In addition becasue the tank is soft we would need to make a hard bottom on it to keep it upright. |
