Gear for LJ will vary with the time of year. For winter fishing I head out with 3 out fits, 30 and 30 for top and bottom bait and 40 lb for yo-yo. For summer fishing I'll bring 20, 25, maybe 30 for bait and 30 on a 9' jig stick. I don't fish bass much and I've been made an absolute fool of hooking bigger YT on wimpy little bass gear so I don't even bother to bring the 15 most of the time. Spectra backing is nice but keep in mind when you get hung up on the bottom with 65 lb spectra and 40 lb mono getting free can be difficult. Mike
