Thanks John, it was just being in the right place at the right time.
Hopefully this new season I could pick up where I left off. We may possibly hit the surf break for some winter Halibut.

I didn't know the Sheephead had an off season. Glad I saw your post but then again not so glad. Doesn't leave much to go for the next few months

Guess the flatties and bass will be on all our radars.

amazing vid and looks like you had a blast. I've tried chasing sheephead out of LB and newport with extremely minimal luck. I might need to drag my kayak down to Dana Point and go explore.
