But I always have a flylined bait or two out while dicking around with the bottom critters. My biggest YT was caught while pounding the dab.

I can see fishing the kelp for checkers when its slow (sort of), but I seriously can't understand fishing predomiantly in the bay when there is one of the premier offshore kayak fisheries just up the block. Not that anyone on this board does that.

Fishing is all good. But one of the side benefits of primarily fishing for the big boys is getting to tweak the bass guys. They get so riled up, it's kind of cute.
