Bellyup,

It's moreso that nobody reports on the bass much. They are kinda a "given" for a number of people who "care to waste their time" (like me for example - WCW points - 0!).

After pounding a local lake all day for a couple one pound Largemouth, or a limit of trout, it IS amazing to glide solo into the thick kelp that evening to catch a couple dozen 2-5 pound calicos in a hot evening bite.

Wait till the water hits 64, you can catch them on donuts.
