Preception makes the search 15 although they are a sister company of Wilderness Systems/Confluence Watersports. http://www.perceptionkayaks.com/prod.../recreational/ Other Confluence Watersports brands include Adventure Technology Dagger Harmony Gear Mad River Canoe Perception Wave Sport Wilderness Systems All that said I agree the Preception Search 15 is a good kayak and $675 is a good price for a basically new kayak.
